I have seen you before
Oh! Yes, with the blue and yellow
Diving gear, with the affluent friends
Yes, it’s you who broke my home in two
And took away half of my family
I swam out just in time!

Yet, you came back again,
And took my second home too
Were you satisfied with your day’s dive?
You left me homeless once again
But I built another, for the ocean has plenty of places

Why are you crying on the beach today?
We creatures all heard the signals—
Didn’t you, with all the technology of your kind?
So, the tsunami took your mansion away?

How does it feel to be homeless?
I pity you, but it serves you right
You, man, are also a cause of the tsunami
For believing you are the masters of the world
Do you realize now, that Mother Nature reigns supreme?
